Noting that, the annual research Awareness Week held at the University of Zululand, emphasised conducting research to promote societal prosperity through efforts in hydrology and an entrepreneurship centre,

Further noting that, Professor Moyo, stated that the areas, such as, poverty alleviation, global knowledge expansion, improvement of African challenges, transformation, equity and gender equality were the focus,

This HON. House invites discourse on engaging universities, with government challenges and research topics to address current problems.
