Hon. Speaker, I hereby give notice that I shall move on the next sitting day of this Hon. House as follows:

Noting poor town planning that resulted in residential areas next to a high pollutant industrial areas in the Durban South Basin.

Further noting numerous environmentally derived resulting health complications of the residents especially children.

This Hon. House resolves to call on Hon. Premier to, in conjunction with stakeholders finalise a long term land use and human settlements plan for the Durban South Basin.
