Madam Speaker,

I shall move on the next sitting day as follows,

Noting that, patient safety advocates argue that the high costs of adverse events create economic incentives for hospitals to invest in safety improvement,

Further noting that, the current medical liability systems is more adversarial, shower and less predictable than a health court system,

This Hon. House resolves to call on the HON. MEC Dhlomo to pursue the argument for legal reform, notwithstanding that this alone cannot establish the business case for safety but can be an integral part of the solution.
