Hon Speaker, I hereby give notice that I shall move as follows,

Noting that gender disparities create barriers to women’s development. Further noting, the heavy burdens placed on society and government, with respect to growth and poverty reduction.

This Hon. House calls on the Hon. MEC of Social Development to reduce gender disparities through sustainable policies and programmes, educating and targeting high risk groups such as the elderly, widows, child-headed households and single mothers.
