Hon. Speaker, I hereby give notice that I shall move on the next sitting day of this Hon. House as follows,

Noting the sensitive issue pertaining to promotions, further noting the meagre salary increases within the SAPS, intervention is necessary to address questions about planning and filling of essential posts within structures at an appropriate salary package.

This Hon. House calls on the Hon. MEC Safety and Security to engage with SAPS to closely monitors these issues and reports the progress to this Hon. House.
