Noting the recent judgement by in the Pietermaritzburg High Court about the enforcement of the proximity of alcohol outlets near schools and places of worship.

Further noting, this may see the closure of about 470 Durban outlets alone,

This Hon House resolves to have a fully-fledged debate on all Amendments to the National Liquor Act 59 of 2003.
