Hon Speaker, I shall move as follows,
Noting that, Ghana’s Employment Ministry, through a 2015 Legislative Act, initiated a youth employment agency, shaped by a 12 model framework, where every university graduate is given a one-year mandatory public or private internship,
Further noting that, Ghana’s Labour Act, 2003 provides for establishment of Public and Private Employment Centres facilitating employment and registration of unemployed persons to expedite internships,
This Hon. House invites discourse on the merit of introducing such Centres to ensure employment and skilling through an Employment Bill in South Africa.
