Hon Speaker, I shall move as follows,
Noting that, investments in formal public education have not produced the desired outcomes we desperately need, of “quality”. Low productivity levels and unemployment further show us as a society built more upon promises than delivery,
Further noting that, learning and development cannot be led solely by government but must begin with communities. Growing unemployment is painful and the move away from traditional ways of raising children exacerbates problems,
This Hon. House invites discourse on rekindling a growth mindset with appropriate steps by families for addressing these issues, together with government.
