I shall move on the next sitting day as follows,

Noting that, persecution of gay students at the Nelson R Mandela Medical School has been reported recently,

Further noting, the Committee on status of Women, needs to intervene to address this issue, pertinently so, to medical students.

This HON. House calls on the HON Premier to invest in workshops and programmes on our campuses, in partnership with NGO’s that excel in this work, to bring about positive awareness amongst students about acceptance of the LGBT community to advance social cohesion.
