Hon Speaker, I shall move as follows,

Noting that, US Presidential Innovation Fellows, brought in young technologists into that government, which impacted greatly on their functionality,

Further noting that, an Innovation Ministry, although time-consuming to set-up, will give young innovators the chance to come up with solutions to  the challenges we are facing. Such innovation examples are Treasury’s eFiling system and the Stellenbosch University’s Geasy innovation on household use of water.

This Hon. House invites discourse on the merit of introducing such an Innovation and Employment Ministry, to utilise innovators for the benefit of government and our people.
