Lord Jesus Christ and Social Unity
Jesus was born to Mary and lived in a small village. He is the Son of God with infinite knowledge and power, yet He was also mortal and susceptible to hunger and pain. He fully experienced the challenges and sorrows of life.
At the young age of 12, Jesus taught at the temple. Everyone was left astonished by the understanding he had. Before he could start his ministry, he fasted for 40 days. He was tempted by the devil and overcame that temptation. Then he was baptized in the Jordan River by John the Baptist. Although Jesus was without sin, he was still baptised by immersion in order to teach us obedience to God. After Jesus’s baptism, God declared, “This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased” (Matthew 3:17).
Through the Ministry, he healed the sick, restored the sight of the blind and even brought the dead back alive. He never turned away little children. His love was and is endless and available to all. Jesus Christ was there for all. Even when he was put on the cross he said ; “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing.” That is the love and mercy he had for everyone.
Even though some doubted him, he reminded everyone that His works were aligned with God’s will so that the father (God) will be glorified by all that he does. He tried to unite everyone. He was humble and treated everyone equally. He loved all dearly and tried to win them over with his pure, unconditional love. He used every opportunity to serve and lead by example.
This Easter remember the words of Jesus Christ; “Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live.” (John 11:25).
The Minority Front wishes you all well over this Easter period. Rejoice in hope this Easter season!
