1. Hon. Members Correlation is not a myth when gender violence is plotted against poverty or inequality.

2. Women and children bear the brunt of male domestication for many reasons.

3. The MF, is of the view that looking at our citizens both as moral and economic units are inseparable for full scale human development and budgets must be gender specific.

4. The first strategic interaction, has to be an expansion of the grant type’s to include, full care givers grant, pregnant mothers grant, widows grant and an unemployed youth grant.

5. Social security policy reform should transfer risk from individuals to groups and financing mechanisms have to transfer from rich to poor, compensating for market failure.

6. The MF supports, a maximalist approach and advocates income re-distribution since, it is unfathomable the top 1% of our earners earn 20% of the total income generated in SA.

7. Things must change, with comprehensive social security policy in S.A.
