1. The Minority Front welcomes the rejuvenation of our railways. Chatsworth thanks the government as the railway on the Higgonson Highway has been activated. It’s a great feel.
2. In this backdrop, it is critical that this bill enforces safety regulation of the railways via a regulator as per the bill.
3. Speaker, development is only in name if there is weak or no safety as we must protect commuters and local communities with safe developments and give them appeal mechanisms which this bill provides.
4. The MF welcomes this bill as it will reduce the massive road carnages we have experienced due to heavy duty trucks.
