1. The Minority Front supports the DORA Bill 2018.
2. KZN has got the lion’s shares or highest allocation. HON.Members we have challenges that warrants the judicious use of all these funds.
3. The only concern the MF has, in the 2% cut, across all departments. This is transversal for all Provinces or directive from National Treasury but we would need to monitor how these saved funds are managed, as they may be a contingency in nature.
4. Also, in different portfolios committees, the impact remains to be seen and therefore quarterly close out reports would have to track the implications of the budgets cuts, in preparation for the November Appropriations.
