- HON. MEC, the MF is pleased with the re-allocation of the R86,890 million in terms of Section 20 of DORA, for the Education Infrastructure Grant.
- I acknowledge that KZN would not have received this allocation if we did not have the capacity to spend this grant.
- However, we should ascertain if there is a plan for the motivated needs and whether these include addressing sanitation and storm damages at schools, as well as, eradicating mud schools.
- This Hon. House calls on the HON. MEC. Dlungwane to issue an executive statement on the department’s planned expenditure of the above re-allocation of R86,890 million, with a list given to members of the projects underway.
- The Minority Front supports the KZN Second Adjustment Appropriation Bill 2017.
