Hon Speaker, on the next sitting day of this Hon. House I shall move as follows,

Commemorating the 8^th March International Woman’s day and noting the concern that South Africa is labelled the rape and crime capital of the world,

Further heeding the call by our Hon. Premier that, rape must be dealt with;

This Hon House resolves to debate this scourge with the aim to convene a KZN Conference, with relevant stakeholders to initiate a specific law against rape and resolve outstanding woman’s rights issues.
