Noting that, many provincial boards fail to achieve their core competencies, notwithstanding most having a full retinue of directors,

Further noting, the impact non-performance has within KZN,

This Hon House calls on the Auditor-General, to conduct a skills and qualifications audit of all board directors; to establish their suitability to perform their core-functions on industry based standards and minimise board membership, avoiding multiple board directorship.
