Noting that, graduate doctors are picketing for placement,

Further noting that, as part of our programme of work on the sustainability of the health and social care workforce,

This Hon. House calls on the HON. MEC Dhlomo to provide an executive statement on medical recruitment for 2018 and the HON. Speaker to undertake a focussed enquiry on the capacity of the KZN medical workforce to meet our population’s needs, with the aim to propose new models of care.
