MF Leader, Hon. Shameen Thakur- Rajbansi pictured with dignitaries and guests at the South African Hindu Dharma Sabha’s Diwali banquet which took place at the Kendra Hall in Greyville.

Speaking at the event, Mrs Rajbansi stated that, “Much can be learned from the Ramayan about crisis management and diplomacy which were handled expertly by Shri Raama and Lord Hanumanji. Because of their actions victory was achieved and homecoming (Diwali/Deepavali) is celebrated. Today, we understand that crisis needs to be treated as a way of life which is sprinkled with struggles, therefore worth living”. She also thanked Ram Maharaj and the SAHDS team for hosting this banquet every year as it upholds the essence and significance of Diwali/Deepavali.
