World Health Day 7/04/2018
World Health Day: All The Way
“Health for all” being our slogan for 2018 was founded on the basic principle that every person should know it is their right to receive basic medical health care regardless of their race, colour or creed. This day is also a reminder to people, that it is vital to take care of your health, not just physically but emotionally as well. Together this makes up your entire being.
Generally we cannot and may never be able to dictate how and when our health could change positively or negatively, but we constantly encourage individuals to maintain a balanced diet daily with the required amount of exercise, including some sort of meditation or prayer. It is also important not to focus too much on your physical health and ignore your mental health which plays an important role with in you. Eating correctly is one major aspect but getting enough rest works hand in hand, meditation, sleep and other recreational activities that will help boost you with loads of energy. Thereby energy is regained and the body resistance to colds, flus and viruses are stronger and effective. Let us recollect the age- old motto “Early to bed and early to rise, keeps a man healthy, wealthy and wise”. Invest in your health as this will be a life time investment. Teach your children from a young age that their health is very important as well. We appeal to individuals as much as possible to make the government aware of their health needs as many countries have already achieved seeing to the health needs of their entire country and this will boost life expectancy for our country.
