Hon Speaker, I shall  move as follows,

Noting, that our  learners are turning a cocktail of over the counter medication into fatal  drugs,

Further noting the need  to medically examine and assess learners who may be affected by drug  addiction and Foetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders,

This Hon House resolves  to call on the Hon. MEC Health to deploy School Health Teams into KwaMashu  and Chatsworth, which are affected, to bring about learners awareness of drug  abuse and for health providers to assess learners affected by these; with a  report back to this Hon. House.
