Hon Speaker, I hereby give notice that I shall move on the next sitting day of this Hon. House as follows,

Noting the ongoing problems experienced with burst water pipes in Northern Natal especially Estcourt, Ladysmith and Newcastle.

Further noting the poor maintenance plans and piecemeal repairs,

This Hon. House resolves to call on the Hon MEC of COGTA, to ensure that municipalities prioritise and budget for infrastructure maintenance and fast-track the filling of vacant posts with skilled experienced officials, at industry related competitive packages.
