Hon Speaker, I shall move as follows,

Noting that, 37 people lost their lives over the Easter weekend with 14 people killed on Good Friday in the bus tragedy between Nkandla and Kranskop,

Further noting that, KwaZulu Natal experienced a drop of 49% with fatalities reduced from 55 in 2015 to 28 in 2016. This year’s figure has seen a drop to 23 excluding the 14 bus deaths, notwithstanding even I death is too many,

This Hon. House resolves to congratulate the Hon. MEC Kaunda on reducing, by general road fatalities and requests an executive improvement report for posterity.
