  1. Speaker, this may also be my last speech in this Hon. House, so here goes:
  2. members this is a progressive piece of legislation as legislators we appreciate originalism versus textualism when it comes to revising outdated laws mean’t for previous regimes by our democratic order currently and what is needed today by our people.
  3. Transport is undergoing massive changes and development comes with cost.
  4. This bill through the empowerment of the Transport Appeal Tribunal will give the board members actual power to carry out their oversight and duties to protect transport stakeholders. Board members must be the voice of vulnerable commuters.
  5. The Minority Front welcomes this bill which speaks to purpose in terms of the spirit of the changes rather than the letter.
