This remark is racist and smacks of a colonial mentality. The ANC must discipline this councilor and at the next opportunity, place a few Indians in the council so that social cohesion is strengthened. Much awareness about Indentured Indians and others needs to take place for attitudes to change. The MF thanks the ANC leadership that has intervened to investigate the racist slur as we await the outcomes.
