Madam Speaker, I hereby give notice that I shall move as follows:
Noting that, the 21st February: International Mother-Tongue Day, themed “Multilingualism is the pillar for inter-generational learning”,
Further noting that, ancient living languages and cultures requires government investment to achieve shared sustainable prosperity by 2030 and beyond.
Calls on the Hon. Premier to make KwaZulu- Natal the host destination of the sub- regional 9th Triennial International conference and Gathering of Elders conducted by ( ICCS) International Centre for Cultural Studies, with the aim to share insights on mitigating future risks to humanity and our ecosystem.
