Hon. S. Thakur– Rajbansi thanked the school management teams, school– governing body members, motivate to inspire team, learners and most important, the educators for hosting the parents appreciation day.
Mrs Rajbansi, MF leader said, āRaising children is quiet a daunting task, however the challenges are most rewarding as a full–time job, called parentingā.
She said that the learners and the school management was celebrating their efforts to co–operate and share in the responsibility to mentor, guide and discipline their children. āBecause ultimately, good parenting shows in each learner. You all would agree that your children are your richest treasure. Give them the right type of training and they will fly to great heightsā, she said.
Hailing the Chatsworth community for iconic people who lead in their fields of work, she said that this was due to the parents. We have many wise saints, one such is Gurudev Rabindranath Tagore who said, āEvery child comes with a message that God is not yet discouraged of manā. This is very true since children represent hope, the future and possible human salvation. Therefore, the learners and teachers who are part of āMotivate to Inspire, Inspire to Motivateā are living proof that āA child is Godās opinion that the world should go onā.
She explained that Hindu parents celebrate āJanamastiā the birth of divine gods and on Christmas Day, Christians celebrate baby Jesus whilst Muslims celebrate the birth of the prophet. Similarly, all parents add value to every generation in a family. Therefore, schools are intuitions of teaching and learning. Schools open their doors to culture and the parents add cultural, religious and social values to the schooling system by investing time and money in the children.
